What Should you expect attending

Greater Grace Fellowship?

How can I get involved and take my next step?

There are several ways to get involved at GGF — through worship services, volunteering, and ministries. We try to provide something for all walks of life – men and women, children, those young in body and those young in heart. If you are looking for membership, there are three ways:

What should I wear?

We have an open dress policy. On a Sunday morning you’ll see people wearing any thing from blue jeans to suits.

Where do my kids go for the service?

During our Worship Service (9:00AM-10:15AM) we have children and youth Sunday classes. The children are escorted to their classes after the Affirmation of Our Vision. All children are welcomed. Kids who are 1 years old to 12 years old will go to the children’s class and kids 13 years old to 21 years will go to the youth class.

How long do the services last?

Worship Services typically last around an hour and 15 minutes, however we yield to the Holy Spirit so the time may vary from week to week.

How do you end your services?

Every service ends with an invitation to discipleship where we welcome you into the family of believers ready for you to accept when you decide. We also end service with a benediction, covering everyone with God’s blessing and protection.

How would you describe your worship style?

We are a fellowship of believers who are welcoming of people who either belief or would like to come to believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are not bound by traditional worship. We worship as those who are grateful to God and understanding of the holiness of God. There is no one manner of worship that is mandated other than worshipping God in spirit and in truth. In that form of spirit and truth, all worship is accepted and all worshippers are welcomed.

What are your beliefs?

The values of Greater Grace Fellowship are undergirded by our 7 Bedrock Principles which drive our ministry purpose and vision:

1. Evangelism – Our number one goal is and will always be the salvation of the lost. We specialize in attracting men, the unsaved and the unchurched, and people who want a fresh start from the mistakes they have made in their past.

2. We will seek the holistic improvement of each member of our ministry – spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially. We will preach and teach Biblical mandates to achieve success in all these areas. We will also make available the necessary classes, group resources and qualified individuals to help each willing member achieve holistic improvement.

3. We will empower youth in our church and community with the Word of God, programs, resources, training and state-of-the-art facilities to meet their needs.

4. We will always specialize in outreach programs for hurting people (i.e. homeless, poor, those with substance abuse issues, the incarcerated, those who have suffered physical, verbal or emotional abuse, etc.).

5. We will impact the city of New Orleans and the surrounding areas with our social media (radio, television, webcasting, etc.) outreach campaigns, business development, city-wide events, prayer, intercession, partnership with local schools, partnership with community, city and state officials, etc.

6. We will be the model for excellent ministry in our city and in the nation. We will always strive to be excellent in our customer service – how we treat our members, visitors and guests from the moment they pull into our parking lot to when they leave, and how we respond to them when they call, email or write with request or concerns. We will be the standard for excellence in how we do people.

7. We will stay humble and maintain the spirit of love and realness that we’ve had since our inception at all times and give all credit and glory to God for our success.

Our fulfillment of the vision of Greater Grace Fellowship from year-to-year rests heavily on the abiding Words of Jesus Christ, who gives us the Bedrock Scripture of our ministry: “For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.” - Matthew 25:35-36 (NASB)

By applying this scripture, we are carrying out one of the greatest calls of our ministry, to provide outreach to our members and surrounding communities. As stated in Matthew by Christ Himself, outreach is at the heart of God, and we will not forget that at Greater Grace Fellowship.
